With over 12 years recruitment and training experience, Rebecca knows what it takes to make your application stand out and put you ahead of hundreds of others.

As a professional recruiter and career mentor, Rebecca has spent over 12 years working in agency recruitment and internal recruitment teams, have interviewed thousands of candidates and supported hundreds of HR and hiring managers in their talent search, so she knows what’s needed to be successful.

Your CV and Professional Profile represent you and your experience. It’s also your first barrier to getting shortlisted for an interview. On average, a recruiter will receive 100 applications for every job advertised which is a huge task to sift through, which is why your CV has to stand out by being concise, easy to read and relevant.

During the Workshop, Rebecca will help ensure your CV and LinkedIn profile effectively represent your skills and experience to maximize your chances of success in a competitive market.

Once your branding is complete, you can focus your time on your job search so you can confidently put your best foot forward with every application you make.

What Other CareerMama’s Say

I had been out of work for 6 months and was finding it difficult getting my CV to appeal to potential employers and wasn’t getting to the interview stage, in a tough employment market. Your advice and support was amazing. I was really excited to see what my CV was supposed to be like and what information it should have had, it gave me the confidence that I was heading in the right direction of securing a job that suits me and my family. The experience for me has been successful, informative, and eye-opening and I am very grateful for your advice and assistance that led to my success in landing the next job I applied for. Best investment ever made in my career.

Amanda Viner

You supported me to take a different perspective on my goals and the job opportunities. Your coaching provided me with some much-needed accountability, you challenged my thinking and generated new ideas. This experience was an exploration around my vision and current goals, which have morphed into something rather different! I can now see how this job opportunity can support my goal to head to Greece, it’s helped me to take a different perspective on things and I’m now ready to move past my initial block.

Her advice included some clear easy to follow instructions on; language, formatting and punctuation, she even pulled out some of my obvious successes to really highlight my achievements. After gaining an understanding of the role I was applying for Rebecca made sure I geared my resume accordingly. She helped me phrase my profile so I could really sell myself and talked me through what employers would be looking for. Needless to stay after my application was in I was selected straight away for an interview. I would highly recommend Rebecca’s services, I feel like I am no longer job seeking alone.

What if I already have a CV and Linked In profile?

Career Essentials offers significantly more than teaching you how to write your CV and Linked In profile. This is your chance to get specific, tailored support and feedback from a Recruitment Expert with over a decade of experience to share with you.

I don't live in Sydney. Can I do the workshop remotely?

If you can’t make it to Sydney for the in-person workshop, the CareerMama online course might be perfect for you. Click here to read the details and join the waitlist for when enrollment opens soon.

Can't someone just write my CV for me?

Yes, a professional writer could write your CV, however, your CV needs to represent you, written in your words so that you can re-iterate your experience during an interview in an authentic way.

Your CV is intrinsically linked to your interview technique, so if you don’t know your CV inside/out then you can come unstuck. Plus, Career Essentials covers way more than just CV writing!

I’m not ready to change jobs/return to the work just yet. Is it worth doing this now?

Definitely!  The moment you start job hunting and go to market, it is unlikely the perfect role is sitting there waiting, so it’s important to get your documents ready, put the feelers out there and know what’s happening in your industry and sector ahead of time.  Plus, preparation can take some time, and you never know when the dream job will arise, so it is key you are ready to go.  Start early and get prepared so you don’t miss an opportunity!
